The amount of time, energy, grit and guts that go into training for and running a marathon is huge. We set our sights on the big day, but often we don’t think too much beyond that to the marathon recovery.

I felt awful today. Lack of sleep and stress robbed me of a good morning run. I just didn't feel like being out there. My head wasn't in it, so to speak. Also, I was feeling some pain shooting up my left leg, which made me worry about stress fracture in my future. So I cut it short and went around the Temple, and home for a long shower.
That said. I did enjoy running in wintry Madrid in shorts with a long sleeve and hat. No gloves. The winters here really aren't anything to a boy raised on ankle deep snow runs. Also, I am proud of sticking to my schedule. The mission continues...
Ciao for now!
