I enter the Greek city of Sparta at lunchtime on Saturday. I’ve been running continuously since dawn on Friday. I say running, it’s now more of a drunken stagger.

Kilian Jornet climbs Mount Everest in incredible 26 hours



Endurance athlete Kilian Jornet climbed the Tibetan side of Mount Everest on Monday in a blistering 26 hours without oxygen aid and fixed ropes. Less than 200 people have successfully scaled Everest without oxygen aid.

Brain Training Boosts Endurance





British military study finds 126 percent increase in time to exhaustion. Some new results from Samuele Marcora's "brain endurance training" protocol, funded by the British Ministry of Defence, have been declassified. Bradley Stulberg has a good article at Outside describing the findings.
