Over correcting Problem

Never correct everything.

Too much "red" ink will turn the student off. You want to concentrate on two or three habitual mistakes. Have a clear idea in mind before you begin the class, and stick to it. You can vary from class to class. Rank them by importance to you or to the student or both. But never over correct the student. You want to keep their level of frustration to a minimum. Even if you have to ignore, for the time being, a few errors.
