#Repost @runnersworldmag ・・・ Last week, more than a hundred of you shared pics of clothes you were wearing when you experienced harassment. Many of you shared summer outfits but pointed out that you’d also been catcalled or otherwise bothered on cold-weather runs, when you were more covered up. That’s maddening—but it’s also underscores our point: Clothing doesn’t cause harassment. Please help us prove it by sharing those outfits too: The tights and long-sleeved tops that you were wearing when you were harassed. Add the hashtag #runnersalliance and you could be featured in an upcoming issue of Runner’s World. If you no longer have the exact outfit you were wearing, submit a similar outfit as long as it is comparable (don’t swap out a tank top for a t-shirt, for example). Be sure to include a description (ex. T shirt, shorts, sports bra or capris, long sleeve technical shirt, hat) and where you were running (ex. wooded trail in Richmond, VA or well-lit path in downtown Philadelphia). Please post your photo by September 21.
