Repeat Again

It's always a good idea for a teacher to repeat the material covered by the students. Be it in an ESL or 10th grade english course, the students benefit from seeing the material again. In some, they should see it a third or fourth time before you move away from it. It not only will help them better retain the information but they see that lessons are valuable for more than the few days or weeks that you spend covering them. For example, I used to include extra credit sections on my quiz that pointedly referenced past material covered by my class.

This also has a added benefit: you spend less time preparing material for that day since it's a review of past material.
