So today was an easy 8k run. And yes I love being able to say that: easy 8k run. I can remember when even just a 4k would have me out for hours. Also, people tend to react surprisingly when you use the words "easy" and almost ANY distance.
I did have a little of pain in my left shin this morning. It persisted for more than 5k and that surprised me. So I will have to watch that tomorrow. But other than that, I had just the typical low energy in my quads that comes from a lot of running this week. I will just have to power through it tomorrow.
And tomorrow's route has been planned. I'm going to run beyond puente de Toledo to the double bridges (which I forget the name for) and back to the Casa de campo entrance and then do the 10k loop there, and finally up the hill through parque oeste to home. I think it should take me about 3.5 hours to 4 hours.
More tomorrow, if I survive and am conscious.
Ciao
