MT3 and MT4

So I again went out to do my required milage and over shot it. I was supposed to run 12 km and ended up with 16! km. I was so demolished at the end I thought there was something wrong with me. But it ultimately I did a great back to back run: one for 11 and one for 16. So I decided today on day 4 that I would split of the extra four from yesterday and subtract it from today's milage. Today's goal was another 9.5 km. I ran just under 6 km with a few hills to make me scream. Tomorrow is a rest day, then a 6.5 km, and then a long 19 km run.

All in all, I've had a pretty good week so far. I do notice some of the characteristics of heavy training....

I need more sleep.
I eat a ton more.
My biomechanics are improving.
My gear gets washed every other day.
My body hurts 40% of the time.
My legs throb 100% of the time.

I'm continuing to write about running and marathoning in particular. It keeps my head on the game and makes me want to improve so I can help others.

Hope to see you out there!
