Many times you will sit and wait for the students. Like now, I am here. 15 minutes and counting, and no student. You generally should allow for 50% of the class to have elapsed before you bail on the student. Many times, if they are corporate, they have reasons for being late. Use your own judgement. But be aware that you will be waiting many times for the student. Don’t let it get you down. Re-prep if need. Or read a book.
Or take notes, as I did, on the situation.
And sometimes they won’t show. If it’s a company jig, then you will get paid for reading your book. If it’s a personal class, then you’re out of the luck and out some euros.
It’s the nature of the beast.
