Air Traffic Controllers

Spain's image was hurt today. Tens of thousands of people were stranded. A wildcat strike that jammed air traffic throughout Europe. And this was done by a small group of men... 2000. A majority of them make over 250,000€, which is highest in Europe. Their protest was over the fact that they were not to bill the government hours spent in union meetings and not on the job.
A good point was the government's stiff backbone response, where they called for a state of alert --for the first time. And brought in the military to man the towers.
By the 4th they were back at work, and the situation was normalized.
