I met a woman in JJs last night who offered me 22 Euros to teach her English. At anytime, even weekends. Now THAT's sweet.
And then Patsy called me with a gig that's right around the corner on Calle Alcala for 20 Euros for a 1-hour, twice a week. (I would jump but there's a conflict with Mondays, so if they will switch to Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am there, baby)
...and actually THIRD, JJs offered me a part-time job! How cool is THAT? A place that I already spend too much time in is now a job. I will be working in a bookstore, which I've got two years experience and then learning how to bartender. It will be mostly weekends. And I will do training with Dave for a while, for 1/2 pay. But it will be a good experience for me as I will be forced to use my spanish quite often. At the very least more than I do these days.
And it will let me be less worried about cutting into Spanish with more teaching jobs. I can work few jobs for more pay.
A pretty good day.
