So today's distance was 9.5. I ran Mary's Hill which I thought was 10 km from my apartment and back. In fact it ended up being 12 km. Along with the rare humidity, it was a hard run. By the time I was back home, I was covered in sweat and my legs felt like jelly. I drank 2 liters of water and then showered and passed out for three hours. And that's a great thing about August in Madrid, I've got a lot of time to do some serious training. I can sleep and run and sleep and run.
Tomorrow is a 12 km day. I think I will do the Lago run. It's nearly 11.3 km. The remainder I will take from today's run. Then back to Mary's Hill or lesser run. Friday's run is 6.5 and I have a perfect little route near my house that fits the distance Then Rest day. And finally my long run: 19 km. I've got a great 18 km run. The 18 km usually doesn't give me much problems but at the end of this week, I think it might be tough.
Well of to relax and unwind.
Ciao!
